About Rod Oughton
Rod started Shed Jazz Drums in 2025 after wanting to share some ideas from his practise diary. Based in London, he recently completed a Masters degree in Jazz drumming from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in Holland.
This year he composed and recorded a series of solo drum pieces for Premier to help launch their new Artist Heritage series. Other recent highlights include recording an album of his own compositions with internationally renowned saxophonist Ben van Gelder and touring with indie rock band Mystery Jets to promote their seventh studio album 'A Hole To See The Sky Through'.
